Holy Crap!

Huh.. Didn't realize that either. I'm over in Lansing.

That area is growing in tech stuff though. With Google moving in in Ann Arbor, that'll probably continue.

I found that out the other day when reading the Forbes article about Spore piracy. I live in Royal Oak and work in Dearborn. I almost want to go over and drop off some beers for them for being so gosh darn cool, even though I have no fraking idea how to play GalCiv2. 🙁

Yeah, same here they about 30 min from me. Never occurred to me that they could even be located in MI.

Yeah, some of the girls from sales invited me to have a few drinks with them at Dave and Busters after trying to fix a problem with Stardock Central a couple of years back, they are pretty cool people. They bend over backwards to help you if you have any problems, which is how I got to know them.

Am I correct in thinking that The Witcher EE lacks any DRM other than a disc check? There's no serial number and it didn't ask to register or activate - it just says the disc needs to be in. If so, then kudos to CDProjekt and Atari. I'm a couple hours into it and I like it so far. Given that you get 5 discs, a map, a hefty manual and story book for your $40, anyone who pirates it and tries to rationalize/excuse their actions by whining that "greedy developers charge too much" needs to get their asses kicked.
