The Viper has never been about fancy smancy techno wizadry like the Corvette. It's just a pure sports car in the sense of the Cobras from the 60's.

I still don't know why they added ABS...it's not like it really needed it anyway ;)

So what? ABS sucks.

These boys [L]http://eurotechracing.com[/L] usually take off the ABS systems and sell them for large amounts of cash when they do a brake upgrade.They also do this with airbags too.The page is being updated right now so please forgive any dead links.

'Bout damned time. Hennessey has been offering the upgrade for some time now, it's nice it's a standard feature now.

NFS4, ABS even helps braking performance on DRY pavement, so it should make the GTS brake even better now.

LOZER, If your gonna lie about your 1/4 mile times, at least make it look real. If you ran a 11.22 your terminal velocity would be much higher than 109 mph.

As a Type-R driver I can say that, although its a nice car, I'd throw it off a cliff in a heartbeat for even an old Viper.

Why you guys care about playing a driving game?

My friend own a REAL viper but I still smoke his ass with my 97 Civic . That just because Viper can't turn corners at high speed. It offen slip and even ABS can't help.and what I think is that If you got enough skills and reacts fast enough, cars without ABS is even better then the one that has That's the design's problem, american sports cars always design with only Horse power in mind, never care about overall balance.but foreign cars almost always design with Handling at first then horse power.

I even Own a Lancer Evolution IV in real life. but that car is in Japan and I don't travel there unless I really have to.
I bet if I can take that car to NY, race with a viper, If viper can see my backlight, I count that as viper wins.

I'm not bsing here.

You've gotta be sh!ttin me! I smell another Lozer :D No Civic can handle a Viper no matter how tarted up it is. Do I have to whip out the specs? :D

Funny Loser (z, s, who's really paying attention to spelling around here anyway???), the Hennesy Viper Venom 650R does 0-100-0 almost as fast as your Type-R.
