No kidding. I was looking at a set of Yokohama Ice Guards for the wife's Volvo and they're $99 each.

True story: a few months ago a new America's Tire store opened up not far from my house, and we took advantage of the $100 off a set of 4 grand opening special to get new tires for the wife's car. While there, I put my name in the grand opening contest to win a free set of tires and actually won $1000 gift certificate towards a new set of Michelins. So yeah, I'm rocking Pilot Sport A/S's on the WRX now, and they didn't cost me even a penny.

I have cheap generic tires that were like $250 for the entire set. Have not rotated them in a long time either.

Better call the whambulance. I paid $800 for a set of Toyos on my F150.

Blizzaks are nice tires. I ran them on my car when we live in North Dakota.

Last set of tires for my truck were $310 per tire if I recall correctly, and I bought 5.

It's better than paying zero. Daddy use to get discarded tires from garages to use on our family cars... still does.

Pep boys gives you a MIR on the 4th tire so you only pay for 3, but I still had to front $600 for my truck. Boooooooooo

I got the same size even. With installation and all the extra warranties (even the one where they replace all 4 just because 1 went bad), the total would have been like $900-something.

Did you just tell someone to call the whambulance then proceed to whine about the cost of your tyres?

Last year I had a bad blowout on some old tires so I bit the bullet and bought some nice off road tires and the total came out around $1200 for 4 tires.

Try putting offroad tires on a truck with 17" rims.

Worth every penny. ;)

No seriously, they're probably the best tires I've ever owned. The most remarkable thing about them IMO is how quiet they are for how well they perform.

I told them to call the whambulance because $130 is pretty cheap. Hence the comment about my $200 tires (which I was not whining about, just stating a fact).

Mine are a little over a year old and they look slick. Performance wise I've had no problem with hydroplaning. Yet to try them in the snow. We don't get much in TN.

Smooth ride.
