Just a thought. If terrorists did have nuclear power, would two or three of them planted in the ocean near the west coast set off be enough to cause a tsunami? Seems like the most bang for the buck to have nature's reaction help their cause. Simplest solution to doing the most damage and shock factor.

Well, seeing as how they moved nuclear testing out to the middle of the oceans, I'd guess no. But I don't really know the particulars.

Agreed, I don't think it's possible to create a manmade tsunami unless we're talking about energy levels in the range of "all existing nukes on the planet"...

I'm inland though ... would have brought some excitement to the state.

And I'd like to see the U.S. stay the way it is without California. ;)
