I think there is a double standard because for a teenage boy > 14 this is not a big deal or could even help his self esteem. when a teenage girl sleeps with a teacher or older man generally their self esteem goes down. Actually if I remember correctly i think if girls sleep around too early even with a peer their self esteem goes down. I am trying to find a link to backup what is coming out of my fingertips.

Exactly, I wouldn't. Because women are different from men and girls are different than boys (at least in the general sense, there are of course people that are not the norm). I don't apply the same logic because it's not the same situation.

I have no idea of the stats. Lets just think in terms of Reality:

How many boys that age we knew growing up weren't checking out the hot teachers, girls at school, and basically almost anything with a set of t1ts and @ss? Every male did. If a female gym teacher walked in, and there were 20 sets of male eyes in the classroom, 18 were immediately checking out her chest. The other two, one was gay and the other was the late bloomer clueless straight guy. No one was in love with her. They'd just like to nail her and move on to the next piece.

Contrast that with the charismatic and attractive male teachers at the school. When they walk in the classroom the girl fools in there want to bang him too. But not because they want to hit it and move on. They want to have his baby, be with him emotionally, blah fing blah blah blah.

That's why there's a double standard, or, at least, should be legally. Fire her. Don't prosecute her.

Every dad is going to checkout the teacher and first thought, whether they admit it or not, will be, Yeah I'd like some of that. No dad is truly going to be mad at his son for actually hitting that. He might be mad at him because now the dad has to deal with the mother, the school, the teacher, etc. etc., but for seizing the opportunity to hit that as a 14-whatever year old? Yeah, no.

He won't. If he's mad it's because he's mad he will not have to deal with the fallout and/or society has trained him to be that way.
