no, because it went face first into a window, then headed on a crash course into my lap. any normal bird would have flown away, he just sat there.

Oh! It may just be dazed then. Leave a window open and when it comes to its senses it'll fly off.

this is truly an exciting time in your life and you shoudl take some time to reflect on te events that just unfolded in order to open your mind to the enlightening gifts that were just brought forth.
 
Put it back outside asap. It looks pretty young and was probably just stunned by the impact with the window. On the other hand it may be sick from west nile virus. You might also get a wicked gastrointestinal distubance if it leaves any salmonella, giardia, kliebsiella, or other fun bugs in your house. Don't forget about lice!
Put it outside now.
 
just smack it around with a broom, if it doesnt go away you have good fun smacking around a bird for 10 or so minutes...but if its smart itll fly away.

In any case a win-win situation
