I just had the freakiest dream... It wasn't like the nightmares you have when you're a little kid where you're scared cause some big monster is chasing you or something. I was burying a human head wrapped in newspaper in my backyard. I never remember my dreams really clearly, but I know that the rest of the body was back there somewhere, too. I was covering up a murder.... I don't remember exactly what happened but I remember having a related dream a few days ago. I know that I didn't plan on murdering the guy... it was either self defense, or an accident or something. I know I didn't feel guilty.... Anyway, the scary part of the dreamwas when I thought "If they EVER find this, I'm going to jail for life." Beleive me, when you actually beleive it, that's one scary thought..... I'm glad I woke up then....

I once had a nightmare where I went into work and all of our racks of servers had been triple-layered with cardboard boxes. Like, a huge cardboard box that would fit over a whole rack, times 3.

Now that was scary.

We should report you to the Office of Homeland Security. Thinking and dreaming impure and unapproved thoughts might make you an Enemy Combatant, and therefore a danger to our great nation. Make no mistake...

yes, childhood nightmares pale in comparison to the ones where, you feel like you are awake, and while you might not be running from a monster, things are wrong ll around thing....no worse feeling than waking up in the same bed you've slept in for years, cold, sweaty, and no idea where you are....

Ever watch the Farscape season cliffhanginer "Unrealized Reality", where Crighton goes through the wormhole to find everyone "merged" together? A little while ago I woke up from a dream like that, where everyone I knew was sort of blended together in weird ways. I woke up as I was having a conversation with the people responsible.

I had a dream about waking up at 1:30 and having my DVD be late that was due at 12:00 today at BB. Then I woke up at 11:15.

Have you guys ever had those dreams where you can't run no matter how hard you try? I don't necessarily mean running from something, but just running. Like I had a dream a few weeks ago where I was just running down the street, and I couldn't do it. I was working as hard as I could, and moving slower than a person who is just walking normally. I almost felt frustrated that I couldn't run.

Anyone ever experience this?

No, but I have dreams where I walk into the sky on invisible steps and I can't get back down because they keep making me go up be the ones behind me going away.

I screwed up my neck royally on New Years eve. A few friends and I booked a suite at the Renaissance in downtown Pittsburgh. We were pretty drunked up when my girlfriend started jumping on the bed. We all joined in and it led to gymnastic events from bed to bed. Anyway making a long story short. I royally screwed up my neck while attempting to complete a reverse back flip with twist. (The french judge gave it a 4)

Ok so the doc gave me some superb pain medication and not obeying orders I had a six pack last night during the steeler game and popped a pill before going to bed. I must say that I had the most freaky a$$ dreams I have ever had in my life. Satan, or some other unsavory character was standing right beside my bed, I was under the covers but he kept yanking on them yelling that he was there to take me to hell and I needed to get up or else. I screamed a lot in my sleep i guess. I woke up a lot but the dreams kept coming, I found it hard to tell if it was real or a dream. My girlfirend said I screamed several times in my sleep and on one occasion found me lsleeping on the floor. I didn't feel really high or anything as the pills usually only last an hour or two and it was going on 4-5 hours later. My GF wanted me to goto the doctor but I declined.
It was not pleasant, but not that its over its wierd to think about how scared I was over nonsense.

Argh, that is the most annoying experience ever. You are trying to run away from something, but it just won't let you and they catch up to you because it seems like you are stuck to something...

i think i play too many first person shooters.

You've got to love Percoset... I took one once, and had this dream that I was two people at the same time.. Was kind of freaky when we were looking at each other.

Grimanalac's "dream" sounds more like a near death experience to me. You probably close to dying from depressed respiration that drinking and percocet can cause.

Wow. What I like is the "or else" part. So if you refuse to go to Hell with Satan, what could he possibly do to you that would be worse?

The worst bedtime thing I have EVER experienced was sleep paralysis.
