pretty cool. I want to get the internet backbone plugged into my desktop so I can download at however many Gbps is available.

If you could use a large portion of your RAM as a buffer then you could keep up easily for at least the first few hundred MB.

Such a problem is comparatively small compared to getting a jiggabit backbone to your actual computer in the first place 😉
