A former secretary of state is on the Daily Show, a parody newshow?! :Q (Course, he did have Bob Dole on a couple years ago). Man, Jon Stewart rules to be pulling in these kinds of guests. Love the Daily Show.

While the show is not serious, Stewart does get a lot of political guests, and he surprisingly knows a LOT about politics.

And Steven Colbert is my hero.

Wasn't he (Stewart) supposed to have a show on CNN International? I heard about it a couple months ago.

Colbert is the best.

I dunno about CNN International, but he was being considered a late night TV show on ABC's to compete with Leno and Letterman. They ended up going with Jimmy Kimmel - oh well. Too much of his humor could be over the edge for network TV.

Anyway, the Daily Show has had a lot of serior political guests. Including Al Gore! 😛 It's surprising that they get these people after making fun of them so much, but they do and often the interview is more meaningful and interesting than on CNN or a real news show.

Even though it's a comedy/parody show, it has alot of viewers and good ratings. So when people are booking their "Talk show tours" to sell a book or movie, etc, The Daily Show is now part of that group.
Agents want high visibility for their clients and The Daily Show provides it. Jon has made the show a little more political and respectable also.
