It could just be a precautionary move seeing as how the Braves are up 14 games in their division. They don't need him right now, might as well rest him.
 
im not even sure he has pitched in 15 days.
i need some more saves from him, im in first in fantasy baseball and need him for my stretch run.

better teams don't trail in the playoff standings, they lead them. The closest they're going to get to the series this year is hdtv.
 
Redsox or not, the ChiSox have stirred things up lately. They're systematically DESTROYING the yankees at home these past couple days (10-2 6th inn. right now).
 
actually it's very good that they caught it early.

better to rest him up for the playoffs. it's not like they are going to lose the division.
