Found PocketNES and english translations of the REAL final fantasy 2 and 3 and are playing them for the first time!! on my fekkin' IPAQ

did a bit more searching, and found PocketSNES, and got the English release of FF3 (2nd one to come out on SNES) and playing it too!!!

man this is crazy....


what's the coolest thing you've figured out on yer ipaq?

The coolest thing I've heard of so far:

Encoding divx to fit the screen, watching movies on it.

Friend of mine spent a month in Canada training for the company & picked up some serious OT. He bought an Ipaq, a keyboard for it, & the stuff necessary to set up an 802.11b LAN in his apt. Going to run ICS from his desktop to his Ipaq.

I hate him.

yeah i've decoded some movies and tv shows to divx to watch, that's nice too... i just don't have anywhere that warrants watching a movie on the ipaq instead of on my home entertainment center

Holy crap! I knew about pocket NES but pocketSNES! that just kicks ass! So how does ff3/6 look on the Ipaq?

it's running kinda slow, but playable.... if ya love the game, the slowness only bothers you during the beginning when you HAVE to watch the credits

yeah, snes games don't run that fast, however NES games run great.

I just got my iPAQ H3650 yesterday. All I can say is I don't know how I'd live without it.
