yeah, we have a screen that does 108" now, but may have to upgrade depending on the size of the living room.

That description says it has 1600x1200 res.... man imagine hooking that to a PC and playing Doom3 across the entire living room wall....🙂

I think I'd rather have a plasma than a projector. Don't you have to watch TV in the dark if you want to use a projector?

preferably, but not with the newer ones that have incredibly bright displays.

at any rate, we have a big screen (52") for normal tv viewing. the projector is for movies. 😀 full set of Klipsch 7.1 surround sound speakers as well

when i was freshman in college .. my friend's roomate was filthy dirty rich. Hthey had an apartment with all leather furniture, big screen tv and a pool table in the living room.
 
Guy at work I was talking to yesterday has a $4k DLP projector and he projects to a 96" screen. His stereo setup is worth about $8k as well. Too bad I don't make even close to what he does 🙁
