Really? I know they have a lot of images stored for google earth, but I would assume multiple terabytes would take care of that...

some street views are clearer. i think they are upgrading their cameras?

Stupid google staff...get to work in an awesome place , be happy, and play video games all day..../jealous.

Yep noticed that last weekend. Pretty cool. I've always been amazed by the Google Street View. Not only have they been very busy with the US, there is a good amount of Japan, lots of Australia, some Frances, and just recently started Spain and Italy.

I figure they'll get to where I live soon. They've covered basically all of the cities in NY so we should be almost next.

The ones in Seattle (which they JUST put up a few weeks ago... the last big city to get street view) are really good resolution. You could easily identify people's faces, except for the fact that they blurred them out.

Once all the cities are covered, the photography truck will just have to scan itself and its information gathering will be complete. Then all it has to do is destroy the universe so that there is nothing more to index.

Still far from complete. Most of the places I frequent are not even on their maps let alone photographed. 😉

The interface looks new, but you've always been able to use Street View in "full-screen" mode.

Wouldn't they need a couple of boats to get all of that? :Q
