Our daughter has this Tupperware Shape-O-Toy, and it resembles another toy which the dog has (same size) plus the pup always likes to grab soccer balls and such. So, she's taken it before without any trouble. Tonight, however, she grabbed it in her mouth, and her lower jaw slipped into the "pentagon" shaped hole! We could NOT remove it from her jaw!
She started freaking out and panicking, understandably so. The problem is that she's a strong dog, and she could easily seriously hurt herself by pulling on something like with her paws. I had to physically restrain her (fortunately she was on the couch so I could push her into the cushions) with a great deal of force, and I outweigh her by close to 100 lbs (she's 80 or so). My wife got the pliers, and we had to cut the plastic in half to finally remove it.
And here I thought we had to worry about our daughter getting into trouble with the things in the house. Silly pup. She's fine now but is a little spooked, I think, because she isn't barking about needing a walk even though it's past her "time".
EDIT: Direct link doesn't work on their site. If you're curious, go to By Category and look at the Kids section for the Shape O Toy.
