I have to admit I was hesitant about swithing from the pretty GUI screen saver to the CLI version of SETI. Well I did and my work units went from 11-15 a day to 68 so far today! Oh yea, I did add a DL360 server to my group of PCs but still it is pretty amazing. I know I am not saying anything that most of you probably already didnt know but I just felt like sharing. Check out my stats on smokeball's site to see the amazing difference.

I have to wonder how much adding the DL360 is helping though. It is running 4 processes at a time.

I'd say its helping alot 😉
What speed is it?

Hey all, just started messing with Seti. I set up the CLI version from the FAQ I found on AT. What kind of software can I use to see how many WU's I have done in a certain time period. All the Seti driver seems to show is when I should expect to finish the one I am working on. Your help would be appreciated.

seti queue(sp?) will do that,
cant seti driver make a log file?
one of them does, seti spy or driver or both.
if driver has an option to make a .csv file, that will tell you.

Welcome to the club CiSmAXz😀

SETIQ is probably the best for overall stats for SETI ,as well as WU caching🙂.
Look at my SETIQ as an example ,there's also a link to SETIQ itself there🙂

Where is the read me for configuring the Command-Line client to allow SSE instructions? Or was that F@H?

And yes it helped me also! 🙂 With GUI It had done 8-hours and was only 50% done where as this morning I installed the CLI version this morning and almost have the 2nd WU finished!

What do you mean, SETI v 1.0? The new one with BLINC (or something like that) is v 2.0, but it's still in beta.

It appears we have some un-addressed questions in this thread. Let me help, if I can. 😉

PorBleemo, I'm not sure what SSE instructions you are asking about. That must have something to do with F@H or something else. :Q

CiSmAXz, no one knows (or at least those that know are not saying anything definite) when S@H-1 will end. You can see the information put out by SETI that is all we have to go on by visiting this website. 🙂

Even when BOINC gets fired up, the S@H-1 Servers will probably operate for another month or two. So we still have some time left and we need to press on (statistically speaking) to finish as strong as possible. 😀

And batmang, that's what I always say. lol 😛 😀

Yea, I brought on another Compaq DL360 server (should give me about 25 more WU a day) and a couple of Dell GX 270 - 3.0Ghz PC's. Im gonna try to hook up another dl360 when I get a chance or better yet a ML530. Im not sure how long I will be able to use them for but for now it is NICE 🙂
