Something like the business class on British Airways. Getting stuck in Madrid, Spain? F%&k...getting to fly from London to LAX non-stop in business class is freaking peachy. Recliners, foot rests, swing out LCD tvs with on demand programming. They even gave me a bathroom kit since it was an overnight flight. Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, etc.

JFK to Singapore, Economy $1066
JFK to Singapore, Business $6601

A person could buy 3 economy seats to make a bed out of them and still pay half as much.

what if each one of those 3 seats are assigned in different rows ? or worse yet, each of those 3 seats are middle seats in different rows ? :p

Why would you buy 3 seats in different rows? Maybe I'm just unaware of them, but any airline I've flown with lets you designate whether or not you'll accept 3 seats separated or if they have to be together.

Worse yet, it really doesn't do you any good to have 3 seats unless you're small, it would be like trying to sleep on a narrow couch if you're anywhere near the size of an average person.

It was just a lame joke attempt ;)
or
imagine this scenario...you were unable to check in online. you arrived late at the airport and seats that are left are in different rows..

it happened to me and parents once..we arrived late at the airport and flight was full...we all got seats in separate rows....so its not impossible
