You'll probably end up in an Escort or a Neon. Automatic, of course, with the passenger side brakes. I HATED the passenger side brakes, my stupid instructor kept hitting the brakes when I was in the freakin' parking lot.
Ouch dude. At my school we have the theory in the classroom which of course is free(well, besides school taxes), and then we can sign up for behind the wheel with the school. 25 bucks.
Cost me $150 to take it in school
It's required in Minnesota too...something like 6 hours of behind the wheel, not sure if you need the class or not though.
the best thing to do is shop around and go with the cheapest one. they give you all the same thing anyways. i drove in the crappiest car but i still got the same certification as someone in a newer corolla. plus i didn't have the huge "STUDENT DRIVER" stickers on the car.
don't you have to take 50 hours total before you can try to get your license? i know they changed the laws not long after i took my test. bwhahaha.
I didn't take a class. But my dad was a good teacher. Too bad we got rid of the manual car early so I only got to practice for like a week and I haven't touched one since.
They have a brake pedal on the passenger's side, just like on the driver's side.
annoying as heck !!!, i SO~ know what you mean... my instructor kept slamin the brakes on me when i was going like 40 mph :Q and the dang toyota camry i drove in needed like 8 FULL rotations of the wheel to U-turn = P
