I just got the following email this afternoon:

Dear Best Buy Customer,

This is Cassi from Best Buy Enterprise Customer Care,

Thank you for your recent purchase of the Van Wilder movie. In order to
honor our Pre-Order Price Guarantee policy, a credit will be applied to your
credit card for the difference between the original price of $19.99 and our
new lower price of $15.99. Your lending institution will be receiving
notice of this credit. Please note, in some cases it may take up to two
billing cycles for the credit to be applied to your billing statement. If
you have questions regarding the specific timeframe in which your credit
will be applied, please contact your lending institution.

We look forward to your next visit to one of our stores or to
www.bestbuy.com. Please do not hesitate to contact us with additional
questions or concerns.

Best wishes from Best Buy,
Cassi and the Customer Care Team

granted, it was the online portion of BB and not the BM, but Im still surprised. I even saw the credit they gave me when I looged into my Discover account. Sweet, this means I got the movie for like $5 (15.99-10 digital coupon for future purchases).

:D

thats cool....but an FYI, they do that cuz the first week of the movie's shelf debut, they knock off a few bucks in the B&M stores. sooooo, they do that too online. it only shows up $19.99 when u order, but once they ship it out to you and all, they knock the price down.

that is what makes a lot of the digital coupon deals hot because your always getting a sale price the first week
