For the last several months I have smelled chlorine every time I shower ( I like long, hot showers, and I have poor ventilation in my bathroom).

I just got a shower filter from Sprite Inc, and it is AMAZING. The water smells totally "flat." I will update in a couple weeks if it improves my sinus/skin problems.

This is what I bought, but I got it from a different place:

I just took a shower and the water feels totally different too. It's hard to explain, but I used to itch a bit after showers, and I don't feel that at all now....

Oh yeah I agree. My parents house has a massive filter that is a cylinder of like 2 feet diameter and 5 feet tall so all the water gets filtered....and taking a shower over there feels like silk running on my skin. It is quite amazing!

That's called a water softener and it does not remove chlorine unless it has a filter built into it as well.

You're itchy after a shower due to your "hard" water. I doubt it has to do with chlorine. Look into purchasing a water softener or using soap specifically made for hard water.

I can say that its even more wonderful now that I've had it for a bit. It's NICE.

Most will add a granular activated carbon (GAC) contactor as a prefilter before the softener.
