Hollywood Plus Dvd Decoder and Win2k

I am setting up my new computer and everything went fine, except for this card, along with my ati tv card. I installed the win2k drivers from the website and the new program files. The progam loads up fine, my dvd player sees the actual dvd as what it is, however, when I go to play the dvd, the program becomes not responding. I don't know if this is an expected error with win2k, if it is, I can go back to win98se.

I am running
Thunderbird 1ghz at 1260
Epox EPOX EP-8K7A MB
512 megs of Crucial DDR
Geforce 2 Pro 64mb by MSI
Santa Cruz Sound Card

I had a lot of problems with my Holywood card and win2k. Sometimes the program would freeze, sometimes the playback wasn't good...I returned it and kept win2k.
