Hollywood Plus anf Toshiba DVD??

I have a Hollywood Plus Decoder and a Toshiba DVD (model no. SD-M1402) And when I start up the player, I get an error message: "MMSYSTEM 275" It also tells me that I need to enter the region code, and when I try to, it won't let me. I don't know if these are related, but either way, I still can't play movies.

Thanks.

What OS are you running? If you are running win2k, the drivers the card comes with won't work, you have to d/l the updated win2k drivers from Sigma's website...

I just got my Hollywood+ decoder yesterday... downloaded the player and driver from Sigma's website and the card installed without a glitch...

I downloaded the new drivers and installed them, but I don't think that is what fixed the problem. On SigmaDesign's website, they said that if there was "x" problem, to insert the *disk* and run the setup. When I got mine, it did not some with disks, just the DVD. I couldn't run the setup thing that they said to run cause I couldn't find it on the DVD. Plus, on the website it said that the only fix from v1.8.1 to v1.8.2 was so that "The Sixth Sense" could play in regions 2 and 4 or something like that. But anyway, the important thing is is that it works. Right? Anyway, thanks for the input?
