Damn i used to pay 1680 a year for full coverage, now i pay 1200 a year for liability. no tickets or wrecks. still wish it would go down. :(

I don't have car insurance, and its a law to have it in my state (Missouri). I'm not bragging or happy but I just can't afford it. I'm 23 and have never been in a accident. I don't think that it should be a REQUIREMENT by law.

Hope you dont get into an accident or get pulled over. It could be serious trouble if you're caught.

My last bill was $580 for a full year on my relatively new 2000 Dakota. $1400 for 6 months seems out of whack for someone over 25 with only 1 ticket in the last 5 years. Of course, insurance varies widely with location.

i was in a bank robbery once...cops didnt get called till after they left...i probably had the best look at the robbers but couldnt help the cops...

they probably got away with 40,000+...

I just got a quote for $780 for 6 months on my 6 day old TT coupe. That's comprehensive. That's on my own. And I'm 22. A couple of speeding tickets that have been cleared off with traffic school, so effectively 0 points.

But I live in Santa Barbara, which I think has a relatively low auto insurance index (you can check on Yahoo if you look at city statistics or something).
