Hi Everyone...
This monitor will make you pee yer pants. It is bright with excellent contrast and fine detail. Mine came with no dead pixels. Quality feel.
I have a 3rd PC that wasn't doing anything (Athlon 2800)... so ... I whipped in an old PCI(not express) 5200FX I had laying around and hooked up the 2005FPW to it's VGA connector (the 5200FX didn't have a DVI connector), turned it on... it boot up I could see my DOS boot screen as clear as ever... then it came in to windows and it truly was a thing of beauty. I will later hook it up to an ATI 9600 with DVI later today to see if I am further impressed. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box just after loading the 5200FX drivers. I quickly installed WinDVD and watched Spider man 2... holeee ding dongs Batman... better than watchin TV ;-) Nicer display than my other 2 LCD panels (17" and 18").
Anyways... for all those who are having a hard time to decide if the ah heck will even work or not... I am pretty sure it will. It's nice having the wide desktop. This is by far one of the nicer built 20" monitors I have played with awesome quality... honestly, you will pee yer pants ;-)
All this for about $950 canadian total... was advertised on the website for $999, and when I phoned... the lady was nice enough to give me 15% off and free shipping on the phone... so I just paid that and tax.
Jeff
