hole saw quick question

What size hole saw should I get for 92mm fans. ya, ya, 92mm = 92mm, but hole saws aren't always measured in mm. What size, in inches, do some of you use?

Also, any specific brand you prefer? I have one for 80mm fans, but it has the large coarse teeth that are hard to cut with. I'd like to get a little better one this time around.

Are you cutting into wood or metal? Milwaukee makes the best hole saws. Kind of expensive but if you are using them more than a couple times it's worth it. are you cutting wood or metal?

cutting metal. computer cases. 🙂

The link you provided is similar to what I have. large teeth. I've seen and heard that smaller teeth are better. My current 80mm hole saw has the big teeth, and it sometimes sticks when it hits burs in the metal and such. pain in the butt, and I'd prefer to avoid it if possible.

Anyway, a friend of mine has one that works for 92mm that he is going to loan me for my project. I'll see how that goes.

I don't think there is an easy way to cut that stuff That is where yer skills come into play. When im cutting holes in gutters and metal like that i usually use a jigsaw with metal blade or some right or left handed tin snips. I've never cut a hole in a case tho.good luck. Any suggestions for a quiet 350 watt ps that costs less than 60$?
