This latest example of Holden's ability to bring low-volume niche cars to market leaves Amercian buyers again scratching their heads in wonder and angst. Even though the new GTO will arrive here for sale in November, stateside buyers want more RWD V8 Holden's, from the truck like UTE to long wheelbase Caprice. Rest assured however, our sources at GM however tell us that American buyers will soon have very similar cars as GM is developing it's future RWD lineup in direct coordination with Holden for production stateside.
Interesting...

It is if GM is involved...they'll find one way or another to screw up any good idea.

You mean just like they're screwing up all of their new Cadillac launches? Times have changes, and GM, in my opinion, isn't screwing up much at all these days.
