HOLD THAT 20% off from PC Gamer! (for Warcraft III lovers)

OK, just saw in this post the Best Buy add for next week (8/4-8/10). On page 3 of the add Best Buy is discounting Warcraft III (among other games for 20% off). Combined with the coupon from the September PC Gamer would give you 20% +20% off!

I know, I know, somewhere in some small print it will say something to the effect: "may not be used with other offers...". From my experience most people at the BB checkout do not get coupons too often. Again from what I have experienced they just punch it in and give you the savings. Besides I concider "other offers" to be other coupons, not sale priced items. Anyhow I already have my copy, just wanted to help the rest of you WC3 fans out a little.

You could always try having them price match staples $44.99 then use the 20% off. Not really a special offer then, plus cost less.

Ill second that notion on Best Buy cashiers dont get coupons often. I took that $5 one from gamepro and bought Eternal Darkness and a memory card. After looking at it for 5 minutes he scanned it in and I ended up getting the $5 off of both items.

haha... I use the coupons in GamePro and EGM every time I buy a game there. And it never fails to baffle the cashier... they read the instructions and it seems to work out.

Just to let you know I am a cashier at Best buy and the only ones that "baffle" me are the ones that don't scan or don't show up in the system.

But 9 times out of 10 I'll say screw it and just take the discount off anyway

So would this be 40% of a game or 20% of the 20%?

40% off would be:
59.99-23.99 (40%)=$35.99

20% off 20%
59.99-11.99 (20%)=48-9.6 (20%)=$38.40

Great deal either way

to get the staples coupons visit your favorite fatwallet.com deal site!! Also, Staples seems to be hiding the warcraft boxes in anticipation of the big sale, i had to ask for a copy which the clerk retrieved from the stock room...so far its a great game...
