I have a lot on my plate, and I'm getting a bit lazy in my old age, I suppose.
Some months ago, I'd posted before and needed guidance to set up "Family View" [whatever it's called by Steam] so I could share my games across the household LAN.
Now I'm trying to buy the $25 version of 3DMark to stress as graphics configuration. It is promoted by FutureMark as offered by them directly or by Steam. And I can't get into the Steam store, without terminating this . . . Family View thing.
I'm pretty sure that, once accomplished, I can restore the Family View feature. I remember the hoops I had to jump through to establish it. Is there any advice or insight someone wants to offer about this?
I could write several pages of life-experience with computer technology, to explain why an old man wants to avoid weekends of trouble -- not only troubleshooting hardware, but getting through a series of menus and security features. I no longer act impulsively about any of it . . .
