I need a hug before I hang myself. :\ (complain thread)

Yesterday I had a great day at work! Everything went smooth and easy, no unexpected surprises. Even got to leave early. Today was the exact fucking opposite. All kinds of ridiculous bullshit to put up with (due to management's ineptness) and twice the amount of work as usual. My job is purely physical work, so any additional workload takes a tremendous toll on your body.

I feel like i've been gang-raped. I LOVE my job, and I look forward to going to work every day. But these kinds of days make me want to tear my hair out. The amount of corporate stupidity is high. It seems like the more effort I put into the job, the more I get fucked in the ass.

Welp I feel better now! :)

I dunno. Let's pretend you guys are management. How would you expect a preloader (me) to load 300+ packages on a truck that doesn't exist? :hmm:

If it was easy, they'd have women and children doing it.

With your experience loading trucks, you should try to get something like a UPS job. That way, you don't have to load hundreds of 100 pound bags of grain into trucks all day long. Since you said "physical toll" - I was trying to figure out which type of truck loading does that, and that's about the only product I could think of. The UPS job would allow you to generally have to carry relatively light packages - hardly a physically demanding job.

Doc...he loads UPS trucks...:whiste:

The next time UPS fucks up an order...or the box arrives looking like it was used for a game of soccer...we know who to blame.
