We entered the playoffs in 4th place, and ended up beating the 1st seed by 5-2. There were some tense moments: during the last 2minutes of the game, we had a couple of our guys in the penalty box. With their goalie on the bench, we successfully killed the penalty with only two guys. btw, I'm the guy with the Brian's. :thumbsup:

Congrats! Giving up 2 goals in the finals to a better team is quite a feat. The best feeling is defeating a much better team - it's just an indescribable feeling.

We managed to do that one time in the finals coming from behind in the final seconds of regulation to tie from 2 goals down and winning in an OT shootout (we used only 3 shooters in 10 rounds going back and forth - it actually came to that). We had some beers and "tailgated" in the parking lot afterward and lived it up. Good times. I wish I had a tape of that one...

I've got 2 games tonight... I'm psyched to play again after missing the last 3. Hockey > Vacation.

They had 34 shots on goal in this game. We played them in the regular season and lost 12-2, so this was a nice win. I didn't play in that game because I was out of town...had a substitute goalie play for me. I completely understand how much fun those parties can be.
