Wow, it's been so long since I've done model rocketry. I have no time, but this is still tempting. I used to have like 30 rockets (granted, only 5 or 6 were ever functional at any given time).

I think I built like 10 of these as a kid and never launched a one. I never could find an area open enough where my parents would approve a launch.

I kinda had the same problem, but I launched anyway, never saw them again.

Yeah, that's what killed it for me, too. We moved, and there were no good open areas at the new place to launch any. :(

This also works on all the accessories like motors and such Krylon paint is on sale as well to help you finish the models.

Check out www.NAR.org for clubs that have fields available or go to the local soccer complex the kiddies are not useing them right now.

technically I don't think the coupon is valid for accessories (launch pads, parachutes, motors, etc), but YMMV as I've had some cashiers just give me the 50% on everything, while others stick to the coupon wording which says 'rocket kits'. never hurts to try though.

I shopped at 2 different stores both gave 50 percent ff kits and engines. those motors can get pricey. 16.99 for 2 E motors! but only 8.50 with coupon!
