Guess I don't know how to search properly. But nevertheless, it is intriguing.

That's okay, you should receive your "Hi, I'm an ATOT reposter" T-shirt in 4 to 6 weeks. :)

I'll take it and wear it with pride!!
BTW, how did you take the dandelion pic? It is very nice. The moth looks like a sphinx.

By shooting the sun through the dandelion.

I'm still trying to find out what kind of moth it is.

The pics look as if they have been taken out east. The one flower looks like dogwood and the pink one looks like a spring beauty. Moths can be hard to identify if they don't have outstanding characteristics. What camera are you using?

Okay, now I understand. I used to live in the Appalachia and there were niches that had their origins from glaciers from Canada. I recognize a lot of the flora and the scenics look similiar. Is there any hemlock in the same areas??
Note: Can't believe I saw a Gremlin in the ski parking lot pic. Used to have one of those cars. It was very dependable and had a decent engine that allowed me to haul trailers up mountains while other cars overheated. It was really a nice car for what it was.
Anyway, thanks for the pics. I used to take pics in the Appalachia and will have to bring them out. I used a Sears SLR with a bellows for the close up shots and got some unbelievable pics of tiny lichen, British soldier variety and small orchids and insects.

Most of the pictures are from the Ontario region, the mountains are from the 2 times in I drove out west (once in march 2001 and just this late sept).

I use a Nikon 995, which has really nice macro.
