Merry Christmas! I just finished catering my third party to day and I'm done til New Years. Free at last, free at last, good God Almighty, free at last!
The last party made my day. A dance group having their Christmas and awards party. I was cooking up delectables in the kitchen when my set up man came to tell me they needed more mashed potatoes. He said they were very rude.
Most of the dance group were kids and apparently they snapped their fingers at him to get him to change the mashed potatoes out. Now, you have to understand that my set up man is Thai. While they love their kids, in social order, they rank just above dogs.
After I got done laughing, I told him he should have just laughed and walked away. But, I couldn't refrain from laughing some more and sharing it with everyone else in the kitchen.
I remembered these kids from last year. All of the kids and adult instructors were hyper as hell. I don't mean full of energy, excited or, exuberant, I mean vibrating. Zzzzzzzzzzt!
Shut up! Sit down and take your Ritalin! They made me laugh all the way home. :biggrin:
