Hehheh, yeah. I love it when people see the free water cup. I would just tell them to come up and get refills when they needed them. They'd get mad after a while :)

i get mad, but not because i would otherwise steal soda, but because none of the GODDAMN lids will fit on those things, so i can't take them with me anywhere. ugh, so annoying.

I don't see why you guys think its so disgusting.
Alot of people eat their pancakes with sausage or bacon so McDonalds make it a finger food instead of knife/fork food.

Personally it doesn't appeal to me but the plain patties themselves make great finger food.

i dunno, i have never really been too comfortable with mixing sweet with xian (i don't know the english word for this, salty is as close as it comes, but that isn't accurate) foods. xian is used to describe like... sausage, ketchup, soy sauce, msg, etc....

I agree with you. I don't like to mix sweet food with salty food, but like I said alot of people eat this way.

"Bizarre...but yummy" pretty much describes all of fast food these days. Weird ads.

I'm sure they taste good.

As for what they're really made out of, we may never know.

Yesterday Howard Stern's crew received a huge bag of these from a local McDonalds because of their mentioning them the day before. Howard and Robin were poo-pooing the horrible ingredients and how awful these things would be, while Artie scarfed two and loved them. Howard had a bite and admitted it was good! He's pretty damn particular, too.

I took my sons to McDonalds this morning to try them, but got there too late. We'll be there tomorrow to give it another shot. Something to really look forward to, eh? :p

KIds would love it as finger food.
I like them just plain. Its like eating hotcakes with syrup without using a fork.

Mixing all those ingredients together makes me feel queasy just thinking about it.

I do like their breakfast bagel but only rarely. Even then I just ask for the egg and the bagel.

Now, I hate McDonald's. But, I will admit their breakfast is pretty tasty. I have some buy one get one free McGriddle cupons, so I decided to try 1... errr 2! The bacon one was excellent. They screwed up the sausage one, instead of cheese I got sausage + bacon. I didn't take it back. I think I'll have to return and try another 2.
I think there is too much syrup flavor in the cakes, it makes it harder for me to eat 2 of them. The idea is different, I personally hope they stick around. Because up until now, there was no way to get sweet+meat in sandwich form. Which is usefull when you're driving and can't eat the hotcake plate thingy there.
I think next they should have a breanfast sandwich with hashbrowns for the bun. Might be a bit greasy and slippery, but I think it would be uber delicious :D
