Hmmm this seems like low performance?

Ive had a Samsung 128GB 830 SSD for about 9 months now. Ive never benched it or anything, so for shits and giggles decided to. Numers seem a bit low? Yes I have it set up as ACHI mode in BIOS.

Here's the rest of my system if it matters:
ATI Radeon 5700 vid card
MSI Z77A G43mobo
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS
12 gigs DDR3
SSD drive is currently about 48% full.

Any ideas or does this look about right? If not, anything I can check?

power mgmt related bottlenecks are pretty common for systems running default bios and power option settings.

If you want to see the best possible numbers?

fresher minimally installed/updated OS
disabled C states
disabled speedstep
power options set to high-performance
add OC to CPU and RAM

All of those settings are easily adjustable and fully reversible should you decide to "tweak" a bit. 🙂
