Hmmm... strange service started called "C-DillaCdaC11BA" anyone know what this is? Do I have a Virus?

I'm on Windows 2000 Server and just noticed a wierd service started called "C-DillaCdaC11BA". I Disabled it so it can't run but what the heck is it? Some sort of virus?

Check this out.

Its neither a virus or traditional trojan (I checked my virus and trojan databases and it wasn't there), but might be some spyware according to this webpage. I don't have time to read the whole thing tho but it looks relevant.

C-Dilla is licensing software. Did you or do you have 3DSMax or something like that installed? Several software packages require CDilla running in the background before they'll start up.

Is that for real? They installed that crap to disable my CD without me knowing about it? Isn't there a law against that?

I beleive Maya uses it, too.

It was probably somewhere in the license agreement that nobody reads (including me).

Ad-Aware (newest version) didn't catch it. I had to disable the service. But it's till in there. This kind of pisses me off! :|
