ok.. currently i have a dual boot setup on my machine.... two seperate hard drives....
Drive C:45 GB - Windows Millennium
Drive E:30 GB - Win2k
ok i think im ready to get rid of win millennium completely

I've still got data on both hard drives that i need.. ~5 GB to be exact, and i dont feel like burning it all to CD... so what i wanna do is transfer all of the Data I need to Drive E (30GB) and then format drive C.. install win2k on it... at this point i would have win2k installed on both drive C and drive E... is this possible?? if so, then i would proceed to boot up off of drive C into win2k, transfer the data from drive E to drive C, proceed to formatting drive E.... then id have win2k booting off of the C drive, and no other OSes.... anybody know if all this is possible or not?? thanks for the help.. and any other tips or advice would be helpful...

sounds perfectly fine to me, so long as you have enough room to move everything..the only problem will be if you somehow accidentally format the wrong drive🙂

yeah...I'd disconnect that 2nd. drive before you install 2k....for 2 reasons....1 that way like DeRusto said you won't format wrong drive. and 2nd being, that your fresh 2K install won't see the other 2K install, which should take care of the dual boot option screen.
