I've always liked Cheney as a person. I think he was a good statesman for us during desert storm. I believe the debate based on style goes to Dick. I think it a draw on issues and no one will change there vote based on tonight.IMHO.

Dare I assume that the lower the blink count the more intelligent the person? Lieberman was looking UP, if you noticed, Cheney was looking down slightly, if you've ever been on a stage giving a performance in front of beaming lights, you will know that even the slightest angle CAN block the lights. THAT is why Lieberman blinked so much. PLUS, some people have more sensitive eyes than others. Okay, Cheney wears glasses, but maybe Lieberman wears contacts which are more susceptible to dryness and light?!

Did you see William Buckley on tv last night? He bumbled and paused stalled in his answers too. I dont think you will find many credible people willing to call him an idiot. As I have said often before, stumbling through a sentence or speaking slowly, doesnt make you stupid. It just means that you arent a polished speaker.

If you want evidence of being an idoit, look at Gore's constant exagerations of the truth, and outright falsehoods. He states them as absolute truth, when they arent. This is not just a one time occurence, it a continuing event. A smarter person would know that he is going to get caught in these lies and stop doing them, yet AL Gore cant stop himself.
