Last week, my maxtor 250gb in an external enclosure corrupted. Turns out it was the OS, not the HD, that caused the corruption.
Well before i knew that, i went out and picked up a Seagate 300gb 7200.8 16mb for $99ar.
Should i keep the drive? I thought about putting it into an enclosure and using it as a weekly backup of my external maxtor. Keeping it disconnected 90% of the time as to not be caught by OSX with my pants down again.
