Hmmm... just done watching T-3 again and have some questions

Why can't they send the TX back a little further back, instead of so close to judgement day? That way, she'll have time to kill all of the members of the resistant.

Is there any way we can tie T-3 to the Matrix? I mean, Skynet could very well develope itself into the Matrix... what do you think?

Yeah the thing about time travel is that if they could do it with any precision, john and sarah conner would be fcked so bad. Just send it to their bathroom while they're taking a sh!t or something... or send it to the hospital room while sarah is giving birth.

I think the reason is because it takes tons of power to send things into the past and that is the best they can do. Which explains why each leap back in time is closer to their's in each movie.

No, the Matrix universe follows Wachowski Bro's rules, while the Terminator universe follows Cameron rules so they cannot intermix.

she's the t-x. she was supposed to not need a lot of time. but she got distracted (john connor became her priority. kill john, and the machines have little or no resistance during the war)

Then wouldn't the machines have figured that out and stockpiled enough energy to send a unit back to kill Sarah when she was a baby?

Better yet, harvest the power of the sun to send T-X back to destroy all the cavemen!

Then they would never exist.

But if they never existed, then they wouldn't be able to send themselves back to destroy themselves...

Yep, that's a frequently cited problem with time travel. It's called the grandfather paradox. If I go back in time and kill my grandfather, I won't exist. But if I can't exist, how can I go back and kill him in the first place?

Perhaps it's an alternative future, basically, the past's future will be written accordingly, without your grandfather, or you. Right after you kill your grand father, you will also ceased to exist.
