Hmmm... Intresting trip to a harbor

So, I drive to a harbor to sign for a shipment at the customs office. Coming out of the office to my car... I see these guys walking by in a hurry. Being my curious self, I think maybe I shoul stick around for a while. Something interesting going on here...

BUT, driving around the corner I see a couple of fire trucks and this thing??? A freaky looking armored vehicle with some kind of robotic arm and camera thing...

At this point I think that maybe its best to move on. Coming to the gates, there are more police/ coast guard dudes closing the place down. Didn't feel like stopping to take their picture 😛

Nothing on the news or anywhere else... so far.

Oh, and the harbor is in Turku/ Finland for those wondering.

Haha, I had to take a look at the first picture again 🙂 But you're right, they do look like out of CS.

So, I sent the pics to my friend in Navy HQ. Apparently the "CS" guys are Coast Guard "Vessel Inspection Team". And the vehicle... well according to him its not healthy to be anywhere near it. :Q
He would not stop to take a picture, but would head in other direction ASAP! 😛 Hah, what a wussy *has chills down his back*
He says its used for handling "hazardous materials"... O RLY :shocked:
