Hmmm....Cable or DSL

For those rare moments that my cable is out, I'm sure I can keep myself busy without it. For the rest of the time, Comcast >>>>>>>>>> SBC.

I don't think my Comcast has ever gone out...with the exception of a planned power outage to fix a line problem...but then the computer won't turn on anyway.

When I had Comcast, it never died on me. The problem I had with it was the speed, and the cost. At the time it was 3mb for $54 of which I was only getting 2,and Verizon said I could get 3 for $20 of which I'm getting 1.5.

Comcast up the speed to 6mb not 30 days after I quit them.:disgust: Since Fios isn't comming to my area anytime soon, I'll be back with Comcast in June, when my contract is up.

Earthlink DSL - 1.5 mbps/384 kbps @ 52/month.
Comcast HSI - 8 mbps/768 kpbs @ 52/month, if getting premium cable service.

I'm dropping Earthlink after 5 years...

Hmmm, i just had the sbc 17 bucks a month for 6 months deal put in. My older sister just graduated and will be home for 6 months waiting for grad school to come up. On january 4th i will get to make the leap forward from 56k! Then less then 2 weeks later ill be back in the dorms with much faster connections 🙂
