Hmmm... Asus K8V *non*-Deluxe!

I sighted an Asus K8V non-deluxe at Newegg: link Asus has nothing on it that I could find yet. Looks like they took the K8V Deluxe and used a cheaper Promise SATA chip and gigEthernet chip, and left off the Firewire.

nice siting indeed. I saw this one earlier today also, it should be a great solution for those looking for a more efficient motherboard for their not-so-extreme extreme machines that don't need 4+ harddrives and a super fast connection.

Do you think this new non deluxe board has all the kinks worked out because I am about to pull the trigger on my athlon 64 system? Could this be a new revision or is it just the same as the deluxe?
