Do i format my hdd and do a *FRESH* install of xp when i install a new cpu? Im going from a Duron 1300mhz and my new cpu is coming tommarrow its going to be a 1700+ and Duh i got Window Xp Pro. :clock:

Ok, cool so my XP cpu will have the same intructions as the duron 1300mhz and that means not format cool. ;-0 Because i was going to format today but i thought my new cpu would be here.

I successfully transplanted my XP installation from an 1800xp to a 2.53 P4 without reformating... so yes it would be overkill to reformat just for a cpu upgrade.
