My little female gnome mage just took out a mortgage from the guild and now she's riding her GREEN mechano-strider...pretty frickin SWANK if you ask me. 😀 😀 😀 :beer:!

my free ride for my pally is nice. had 300G but had to loan one of my friends from HS 60G because of his addiction to high price weapons, he could not afford a horse. im lvl 40 human btw
 
I need a new guild, we don't offer loans, and level 40 is fast approaching!

How much do these things cost?

KODOS...and my mount + riding lessons came to about 92 g
 
Tauren get Kodo mounts, through all but the last month or so of beta, Tauren had "plainsrunning" which was basicly a movement form that was as fast as a mount.

Mounts cost 90gold, provided you're in good standing with your faction (which you should be by the time you buy one). Riding lessons cost something too, I forget how much.

Epic mounts are 900 gold, but it's double walking speed. Some of them look awesome.

Money has been spent on mount. Not gona ditch my hundred of hours of my life I spent on my mage. 😀

tauren used to have plainsrunning, which just allowed them to run as fast as a mount @ lvl 40.


Now they have mini-kodo beast mounts.



BTW, what servers you guys on?

How hard was the mount quest? I realize I can just look it up, but I'd have to wait until I got home, by which time I would have forgotten that I even wanted to look it up. Use the verigan's fist quest for comparison - which I would consider moderately hard but quite time consuming.
