Hmm, Why won't it work right.

I guess this would be the right spot for this?

Well my headphones broke the other day (I use them at work to drone out the sound of other CNC machines...) so rather than buying some new headphones I took a chance on a some-what cheap iPod speaker dock to go with my iPod (160GB). Well it doesn't want to work correctly after playing about 10 to 12 songs.

What happens exactly?
Well, the silly dock starts randomly skipping songs at random points in the songs. I've tried using the actual dock and the cord they supplied with the dock, it just doesn't matter it continues to do it. Now my iPod works fine everywhere else, card, computer, headphones, but this it doesn't work right.

I'm also noticing around the time it starts randomly skipping the dock is really hot feeling. So I'm wondering if this thing is overheating then shorting out. Does anyone else have one of these and care to comment if theirs does this?

On a side-note, all the marketing stuff on the box lists all the supported iPods/iPhones on the side and mine isn't listed but the 120GB is, but their exactly the same (besides the obvious) unless I'm missing something.

If I can't get this thing to work correctly does anyone else know of any decent iPod docks/speakers that are easily portable and won't smudge/scratch easily as it'll be used in a work environment?

What I bought + iPod Classic 160GB = Fail.
