Getting ready to assemble 30 USB 2.0 external hard drives...

This is what happens when a Hot Deal goes out of control! Came back from Reno tonite and found all these components had shipped during the week! Here you can see the 2.5" drives (40GB) and enclosures...I'm also selling them with leather cases, driver CDs, USB 2.0 cables etc.

Unfortunately all 30 drives are already spoken for, but who knows, if I can get a deal like this again (private/reseller only etc.) I might get some more to dump on the market!

and small drives (laptop HDDs). That's gonna add a bit. Even it if was a deal, 30 had to be a good chunk of change. What did you charge for the individual drives (including enclosures and everything else)?

ha! I won just over $300 in Lake Takoe @ Bills. Of course that was in the slots. of that $ I won about $40 at the blackjack table. I probably tipped the dealer another 40 though. *shrugs*

would you recommend those usb enclosures? i figure you're using those because you got good deal = more profit, but would you recommend them to a friend or use them personally?

do you have to install any drivers if you're running win me/2000/xp?

i got a buslink 40gb 5400rpm usb 2.0 drive last week and changed my mind on it after reading some bad reviews regarding quality/longevity of the units. might just wait for a good hard drive deal and pick one of these up.. appreciate your comments. 🙂
