NBC just ran a long commercial for this movie and it looks much better than the previews I've seen.

V for Vendetta will be on my list to see :)

I guess no one is interested in this Vendetta movie? :(

im defintely there, i just read the book and it was great

book?

i have the whole comic book serious. the stupid thing about the movie is that in the comic, he's not bulletproof. he actually bleeds.

wonder how they're going to address him actually getting hurt in the movie.

edit:
Only "dreams were bulletproof" in the comic, not him

For some reason the commercials remind me of 1984.
Yeah - I personally see it as a re-imagining of 1984, but all I know about it is the trailers :p

Probable spoiler...

Kevlar vests absob impact. This doesn't not help with slashing/stabbing things. There have been several anecdotes of people buying kevlar vests and trying to show off how tough it is. Friend stabs them with a knife = dead or in hospital. So unless he's wearing boiler plate, and who would?, he can still get killed. Cop killer bullets work on a similar way to stabbing weapons. Hence, he can get... er, hurt... like in the comic.

End possible spoiler
