Hmm... there's a wireless access point somewhere in this building...

I'm getting a wireless signal on my laptop. Officially, this building doesn't have wireless access yet, but I can tell by the SSID that it's in this building. I wandered around and I can get a really strong signal between the 1st and second floor in one of the stairways.... not as great a signal at my desk, though. From my desk, I'm able to get about 1.2mbps, which isn't bad I guess. I just wish I could get a better signal. Maybe I should put a wireless repeater near that hallway...

hehehe..

Good thing I am carrying my wifi card with me to CSUS..

I am trying to add the classes right now.. Hoping to take 12 units or so.. or maybe more.

When I get there.. I am sure you will let me know how to get wifi setup on my laptop.

Walk into the student union, jump on the network, and try to access a website. If you're not logged in, it automatically redirects all traffic to the site that tells you how to set up your account. You can use the same setup at any of the other plces on campus wit the same network. It includes the library, student union, geology building, comp. sci./eng. building, and probably some other buildings.
