Hmm strange, cpu load usage?!

Hey, well my system has been running fine, until today when I noticed my cpu usage under Windows XP taskbar in a pattern like. Goes from 100% to 30% or so than back to 100%. My specs:

1800 XP
Gigabyte GA-7VTXE mobo
Crucial 256mb PC2100

The thing that concerns me is the temp, it's at 48-52c from the bios and windows sandra 2002. I started lapping the AX-7 I'm using and wasn't complete (only at 400 grit), so I think that has to do with something. I mean it's around 40cfm for the fan (adjustable) and only 1c better when at full power (46cfm).

In the taskbar I can't seem to see any spy ware running and before with 20 appz open this wouldn't happen.

Here is a pic, anyone have suggestions?

Task Manager says system is using on average 98%, but it jumps from there to 60% or so and than idle system takes like 40% for a second, than goes but to normal. Never had this type of problem before, but I guess I should methon that the mobo is a refurb.

Meaning? Shut down or what?

The process called, "system". I found out that the cause of this is from my HP Office Jet G85 All In One believe it or not! After I stop the system process I can't print or have audio, guess it cuts off some of the hardware. In any case it's the darn printer, who ever would of guessed?? lol

<< From what u said, could there be a possibility of accusing the sound card also? >>

Yeah, I will reinstall that as well.

Sorry for the late reply, never seem to have time.
