Hmm, so I found a word using Thesaurus.com...

But when I looked it up on dictionary.com, which is the same exact site..the word wasn;t found

What's up with that?

The word I looked up in the thesaurus was BORED, and came up with DISENTRANCED. Disentranec is apparently a word, but not disentranceD..

And yes, right now I'm quite "bored".

entranced is a word
Dis is a prefix. If they counted all the posstible prefix/suffix+word combinations the dictionary would be nearly endless. DUH

Okay..so why is a word like "disillusion" listed?

probably because adding "dis" to illusion gives the original word a significantly different meaning, and doesn't follow the usual rules that come with the "dis" prefix.
